Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a broad game structure may find the focus on one money-machine loop too narrow.
- Players who dislike repeating purchases, upgrades, and rebirths may lose interest in the central progression cycle.
- Players looking for a game-studio management simulation will find that Boink centers on money, bouncers, and cannon upgrades instead.
Our take on Boink
The bounce point comes when the placement and upgrade loop becomes familiar. Players seeking a wider set of management systems may hit a wall at the rebirth cycle, where progression continues through unique upgrades rather than a broader campaign.
What is Boink?
Boink is a casual strategy game about building a money machine from falling money and bouncers.
Cannons launch money from the top of the map, and the goal is to increase its value before it reaches the bottom. Players purchase bouncers and place them on the map, then upgrade the bouncers and the cannon to boost the money's value. Rebirths provide unique upgrades for further progression. The core loop combines purchases, placement, upgrades, and repeated rebirths while the money total grows. The game focuses on increasing the value of money launched from cannons through the available bouncer, cannon, and rebirth systems.
