Our take on Blue Tear
Rather than keeping the investigation within one haunted location, the game sends its story across Africa, time, and space. Its hidden-object structure is paired with Voodoo magic, ancestral spirits, and a body-seeking sorcerer, giving the genre a distinctly supernatural direction.
What is Blue Tear?
Blue Tear is a challenging hidden-object adventure set around an abandoned estate and an ancient curse.
Jessica Loraine and her friends enter the house, awakening an evil that traps them in a realm of phantoms. The investigation moves from the estate to Africa and across time and space, where Jessica seeks help from a sorcerer and ancestral spirits. Progress involves 35 locations, 23 hidden-object scenes, and 45 puzzles and mini-games with varied difficulty. Players help restless spirits find peace, build a Voodoo talisman, and confront an evil sorcerer seeking Jessica’s body. An unusual hint system supports the searches, while the story uses Voodoo magic and supernatural travel.
