Our take on Blocks That Matter
The game departs from conventional platforming by making collected materials the central tool for progression. Movement shares space with block manipulation, recycling, and line destruction, so each stage functions as both a traversal route and a construction puzzle.
What is Blocks That Matter?
Blocks That Matter combines platforming with puzzle-solving across an Adventure Mode of 40 levels, plus 20 bonus stages to unlock.
The Tetrobot can drill blocks individually, collect them, and recycle them into pieces made from four blocks. It can also remove rows containing at least eight blocks. Sand, wood, stone, obsidian, iron, and diamond each behave differently, making material selection part of solving each stage. The game includes collectible blocks that reference block-based video games, a level editor for creating and sharing puzzles, and more than 30 Steam achievements. Progression can be saved through Steam Cloud when playing on PC or Mac.
