Our take on Beyond Power VR
Rather than centering combat on firearms or weapon selection, this arena fighter makes character movement the control method for its powers. Destruction, weather, and meteor attacks replace the conventional shooter toolkit, while matches remain structured as online deathmatches.
What is Beyond Power VR?
Beyond Power VR is an online VR arena deathmatch for up to 8 players, using movement-based powers instead of weapons.
Players fight as one of three characters: Draken uses destructive force, Roho relies on stealth and attacks that pass through obstacles, and Scrios calls down meteors. The arena can be fought through during daytime or nighttime, with weather changes linked to the characters’ powers. Environments can be destroyed and used during combat. The game supports room-scale or standing play with HTC Vive and currently works only with that headset. It is online-only, and the vendor notes that finding opponents can be difficult, recommending matches with friends.

Beyond Power VR compared to similar games
Beyond Power VR focuses on online VR arena deathmatches with movement-activated powers, destructible surroundings, and matches for up to 8 players. Abyssus is a multiplayer roguelite shooter built around brine-powered guns, hand-crafted levels, and weapon modifications, so its structure centers on progressing through levels rather than fighting in a power-based arena.
