Our take on BeDo
The focus on momentum and precision gives movement a clear identity, but it limits the range of platforming actions. Players accustomed to jumping must rely on directional control and timing for every obstacle.
What is BeDo?
BeDo is a momentum-focused precision platformer set in a colorful cosmos.
Players guide a dough through 40+ handcrafted levels without a jump button, relying on full 360-degree movement, sliding, dashing, and gliding to cross hazards and reach secret areas. Levels combine enemies, obstacles, traps, puzzles, and hidden corridors. The game includes 350 scattered pieces of Dough and 105 concealed planetoids for collectors to find. Its lo-fi visual style and atmospheric soundtrack accompany a story about opposing the Somber Slumber, which seeks to end creation. The controls are intended to be accessible at the start, while completing every collectible and secret presents a much higher challenge.
