Our take on Bebop and Tempo
The bounce point arrives at the first-hit rule: a mistimed jump, dodge, or character switch ends the run. Players who depend on gradual recovery rather than repeated practice will hit that wall before the combo system and score chasing become meaningful.
What is Bebop and Tempo?
Bebop and Tempo is a retro arcade platformer where players alternate between two characters with distinct skills.
Bebop can dash and evade, whereas Tempo moves at greater speed, reaches higher platforms, and performs ground attacks. Progression involves route planning or quick changes between movement, offense, and defense; taking one hit ends the attempt unless Second Chance Mode is active. The game offers more than 50 stages, five boss encounters, four regions, an endless mode, and over 20 Steam Achievements. Combos increase movement speed, and a ghost records an earlier attempt. Other content includes local two-player competition, Obo and Harpi stages, a costume store, and Xbox One controller compatibility.
