What is Band of Outlaws?
Band of Outlaws is a 2D action platformer starring Robin Hood, Marian, and other playable characters.
The single-player campaign involves reclaiming multiple towns and defeating bosses while stolen gold accumulates in a hideout in Sherwood Forest. Rescued Merry Men can be saved and used to populate that hideout, and secret characters can be unlocked for both single-player and multiplayer use. A local deathmatch mode lets players battle friends on the same system. Multiplayer requires at least 2 controllers. The game combines platforming and combat with a campaign structure built around towns, bosses, character collection, and the development of the hideout.
