Is BadMan worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Action players who want a simple shooting loop
- Casual players who prefer short survival-focused sessions
- Players who enjoy escalating enemy pressure rather than broad progression systems
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking varied missions, exploration, or a layered campaign may hit the game's single combat loop quickly.
- Players who dislike escalating repetition may bounce off when BadMans begin spawning faster after each kill.
- Players looking for a strategy game with resource management or unit control may find the shooting-focused structure too narrow.
Our take on BadMan
The bounce point arrives when each kill increases the enemy arrival rate. Players who want a pause between encounters or a broader set of combat systems may hit the game's central escalation mechanic before the simple shooting loop has room to develop.
What is BadMan?
BadMan is a 2D action game about shooting enemies called BadMans.
The player controls Goodman, a circle that discovers he can fire bullets from his fingers after encountering BadMans. Each time enemies are killed, they begin appearing faster. The central play loop is to aim and shoot the 2D characters while trying to remain alive as the spawning pace increases. Its story presents Goodman as a figure who once fled from the BadMans before turning to hunt them.
How BadMan plays
- 01Escalating Spawns
- BadMans appear at increasingly shorter intervals as kills accumulate.
- 02Finger-Fired Bullets
- Goodman attacks by shooting ammunition directly from his fingers.
- 032D Enemies
- The targets are flat characters identified as BadMans.
BadMan compared to similar games
BadMan centers on shooting 2D enemies while their spawning rate rises after kills. Caster is also an action shooter, but it presents third-person combat against bug-like creatures and includes six attacks, terrain deformation, and energy barrages.
