Our take on Bad Faith
The story centers on a mandatory assembly where Haven members discuss misdeeds and assign punishments, a ritual that shapes Magda's conflict with the community.
What is Bad Faith?
Bad Faith is a solo-developed psychological horror and drama visual novel set in the Haven, a community of young women on an isolated island.
Its members gather for mandatory Apologia Assemblies, where misdeeds are discussed and punished. Magda, who works in the Art Sect, loves the Haven but struggles with its punishments. After an especially stressful assembly, she wanders into nearby woods and finds a mysterious building. The full game contains a storyline of approximately 35,000–40,000 words, with artwork, interface design, code, and writing by Mado, and music by several composers.
