What is Avenging Angel?
Avenging Angel is a story-driven first-person adventure set in a post-apocalyptic, steam-powered world.
Playing as an Inventors Guild associate, freelancer, and adventurer, the player arrives on an Atlantic island for a maintenance job that leads into personal, international, and metaphysical conflicts. Exploration, NPC conversations, quests, combat, and environmental discovery reveal the island’s history and purpose. Weapons can be dual-wielded and modified, including melee weapons, pistols, and a grenade launcher. Enemies include automatons, cyborgs, and failed experiments. Goggle Glass equipment reveals hidden clues and can gain new functions. Players can read documents, discover recipes, craft through alchemy, collect parts from defeated enemies, buy ammunition and special items, and unlock fast travel through the main story.
