Our take on At Light Speed
Rather than using a conventional adventure structure built around story progression, At Light Speed organizes its space setting around timed platforming courses. Optional checkpoints soften the route, but the central challenge remains completing each run quickly and returning to the start after a mistake.
What is At Light Speed?
At Light Speed is a solo 3D platformer set in space.
Players jump and boost through gravity-defying obstacle courses, navigating more than 700 challenging jumps across an asteroid belt. Hidden objects are scattered throughout the environment for additional exploration. A speedrun timer adds pressure during each attempt, while optional checkpoints provide stopping points along the route. The central challenge is reaching the end as quickly as possible without relying on checkpoints. A mistake sends the player back to the start, making precise movement and quick reflexes central to the course structure.
