Our take on Asteroid Drift
The bounce point arrives when basic turning and thrust stop being enough: survival requires anticipating inertia and momentum. Players who do not want to repeat short levels for faster finishes may also leave when medal targets become the central reason to continue.
What is Asteroid Drift?
Asteroid Drift is an arcade spaceship-piloting game with 26 deep-space tunnels set on a collapsing asteroid.
Players turn clockwise or counterclockwise and apply thrust to move forward while managing inertia and momentum. The goal is to avoid exploding and finish each level with as much time remaining as possible. Faster completions produce higher medals, including Bronze, Silver, Gold, and possibly a higher rank. Extra time or health can be used for practice. The game is built around time attacks, replay, and speedrunning. The first completion takes about 2 hours to reach the credits, while the listed speedrun target is 7:21. 64. Controllers are supported.
How Asteroid Drift plays
- 01Timed Level Scoring
- The remaining time at the end of each level determines the score.
- 02Inertia-Based Piloting

- 03Medal Progression
- Faster finishes award Bronze, Silver, Gold, and potentially higher medals.
- 04Practice Options
- Players can add time or health while practicing level completion.
- 05Controller Support
- Controllers can be used to pilot the spacecraft.
