Four fighter variations offer different combat roles: ALPHA focuses on strength, BETA on range, GAMMA on defense, and DELTA on melee attacks. A hyper meter enables a stronger combat mode, while charging it again activates BLANK STAND. This system increases the fighter's strength, damages enemy sanity, and makes affected enemies harder to fight. The game uses this risk-and-reward mechanic alongside standard shooting to support high-score play. The campaign follows JOKER unit no. 233487 as it attacks Amber Black, with large bosses appearing throughout the mission.
