Our take on Armada Skies
The store emphasis falls on the weapon list, ship options, and invasion premise, while the core play loop remains a straightforward sequence of airborne enemy waves followed by shop spending between stages.
What is Armada Skies?
Armada Skies is an action shooter set after World War 3, when an alien force attacks a weakened Earth.
The player pilots the Armada 165 through airborne enemy waves, collecting items such as cash pods, shields, jackpots, bombs, powerups, invincibility bonuses, and extra lives. Cash collected during a stage can be spent in the shop before the next stage on weapons, ship parts, and other upgrades. Four ships are available: Nineshot begins unlocked, while Air Assey, Falkon, and Nemesis can be built. Ship customization covers chassis, wings, and thrusters. Primary weapons include the Gattling Gun, Plasma, and Lasers, while secondary weapons include options such as Rockets, Flamer, Heavy Cannon, and Shockwave Mine. Progress is saved after winning a stage.
