Skip it if you…

Our take on Arcane Investigations
The bounce point comes when the investigation reaches its courtroom phase: players who do not enjoy cross-examination puzzles will encounter the game’s central concluding system. The approximately one-hour length may also feel restrictive to players expecting a lengthy case.
What is Arcane Investigations?
Arcane Investigations is a short mystery adventure set aboard the Quartzway Express after a magical robbery.
Players control Kabili, a newly accredited arcane investigator, and examine the crime scene through point-and-click interactions. The investigation involves questioning suspects, searching for evidence, and meeting Kabili’s investigative co-workers. Evidence gathered during the case is used in a trial featuring cross-examination puzzles, unexpected revelations, and accusations. The game presents hand-drawn characters and backgrounds, with a soundtrack containing over 30 music tracks. Its comedic mystery takes about an hour to complete and reaches its conclusion before the train arrives at its destination.
