- Players who want companion interactions and side activities between dungeon missions
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking real-time combat may bounce off the turn-based battle structure.
- Players who prefer a mission-only format may lose interest during city exploration, relationship-building, and side activities.
- Players looking for a non-sci-fi setting may not connect with Roids, ruined Earth, and interdimensional monsters.
Our take on Apostle: Rebellion
The bounce point arrives when combat begins depending on the chain meter. Players who prefer straightforward turn-based attacks may hit a wall while managing the added chain and heat mechanics, before reaching the story, relationships, and city exploration.
What is Apostle: Rebellion?
Set in 2200, this sci-fi RPG follows humanity after war, climate change, overpopulation, and the rise of cybernetic people called Roids.
Its story unfolds in Neo-Eden, a megalopolis whose districts draw from different cultures, amid intrigue, mystery, action, and romance. Battles use turn-based mechanics against interdimensional monsters. Each successful hit raises a chain meter, increasing the damage of later attacks, while heat techniques and character upgrades add further combat systems. Between dungeons, players can interact with teammates, deepen their bonds, and pursue side activities. The setting focuses on social inequality and the renewed presence of a military company named Exodus.
