Our take on Animated Puzzles
Rather than using still images, this jigsaw game puts motion into the pictures being assembled. Its puzzle format remains familiar, but animated visuals and turn-based battles add variation to the usual solo assembly session.
What is Animated Puzzles?
Animated Puzzles Star is a jigsaw game that uses animated images, combining puzzle solving with motion effects.
Players can follow puzzles in sequence or make all puzzles available at once. Each puzzle has three difficulty settings, with difficulty increasing slightly as new tiers open. Two daily challenges use different modes and goals. Turn-based multiplayer lets players compete with friends or random opponents.
The Workshop creates puzzles from personal images or animated GIFs, supports puzzles of up to about 800 pieces, and allows them to be kept private or shared. Players can choose from several piece shapes and adjust rotation and whether pieces lock into place. Controls support Steam, Xbox 360 controllers, keyboard, mouse, and touch. Leaderboards and achievements are also included.
