We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Small groups who want cooperative archery and hostage-rescue missions
- Players who enjoy stealth or direct combat choices in structured levels
- Competitive pairs or groups seeking multiple player-versus-player modes
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking forgiving progression may find the one-mistake reset structure punishing
- Those wanting a quiet or low-pressure pace may not suit the enemy waves and direct combat
- Solo players cannot access the full cooperative experience
- Players looking for a broad weapon system beyond bows and arrow unlocks may find the combat scope narrow
Our take on Angry Arrows
The game focuses on bow-based rescue combat, trading weapon variety and forgiving progression for repeated emphasis on positioning, communication, and precision. Its failure reset can make mistakes costly, while the generated missions and competitive modes add variation around that focused core.
What is Angry Arrows?
Rescue hostages from enemy strongholds using bows and arrows in cooperative play for up to four players.
Campaign Mode contains 25 levels, while Gladiator Mode sends teams against increasingly difficult enemy waves and allows fallen teammates to be revived when conditions permit. Rogue Mode places a hostage in a randomly generated forest, with level seeds available for replaying missions. Versus Mode requires at least two players and includes hostage extraction, key control, deathmatch, and mine-based combat. Players can use stealth or direct attacks, collect coins dropped by defeated enemies, and spend the shared stash on arrow types such as Medusa Arrows. Controller support is included.
