Our take on And Yet It Moves
Rather than keeping platforms in a fixed orientation, the game makes turning the whole stage part of ordinary movement. Its 90-degree shifts alter the physical consequences of each position, replacing a standard route through a level with a sequence of reoriented puzzle spaces.
What is And Yet It Moves?
This puzzle-platformer takes place in a world made from torn paper.
Across 17 levels and three environments, players jump and run while turning the world in 90-degree steps. Each rotation changes the physical consequences of movement, creating situations that must be solved through platforming and puzzle play. Speed Run mode adds timed attempts on individual levels, as well as marathon runs through an entire environment. Completed runs can be recorded as Ghosts, submitted with times to online high scores, and downloaded by other players. These Ghost Runs support races against friends, strangers, and previous performances while players compare routes through the levels.
