Our take on Akabeth Tactics
Rather than centering on armies or expanding battlefields, this strategy game focuses on a vampire moving through fixed grid spaces while avoiding guards. Its progression is built around solving tactical puzzles and planning movement, replacing the broader command structure common to some strategy games.
What is Akabeth Tactics?
Play as Liel, a vampire attempting to infiltrate King Cassius’ castle and seize the throne.
The game has 15 fixed levels built around tactical positioning on a grid, puzzle-solving and avoiding the Holy Knights, who kill Liel if they see him. Vampiric skills can be used in different ways to solve challenges, and later levels require more forward planning. The opposing knights include the Guardian, the Inquisitor and the Celestial. Manuscripts found throughout the castle reveal more about the personal vendetta between Liel and Cassius. Set in a gothic medieval castle, the game combines stealth with turn-based tactical puzzles.
