Our take on AIdol: Artificial Intelligence Idol
Players who need action systems or simulation mechanics will likely bounce off at the choice-driven story structure. The game’s central loop follows Hana’s conversations, investigation, and branching outcomes rather than combat, crafting, or resource management.
What is AIdol: Artificial Intelligence Idol?
Hana, a high school student and virtual-idol fan, receives messages from Aiko, a famous artificial performer who claims to be malfunctioning.
Aiko says her original programmer is the only person who can repair her, but no one knows where that programmer is or wants to help. Hana sets out with a varied group of characters to find them and prevent Aiko from being discarded. Set fifteen minutes in the future, the story follows friendship, music, and encounters with virtual idols in Japan. Player choices lead to different endings and character-specific epilogues. The game also includes in-game music, a CG gallery, a custom soundtrack, and insert songs.
