Our take on AI Tycoon
The defining structure is an idle progression loop built around deploying AI agents, with deployment speed increasing as Compute Credits fund upgrades.
What is AI Tycoon?
AI Tycoon is a satirical idle clicker about deploying AI agents across the global economy.
Players click agent. exe to send out agents, then spend Compute Credits on upgrades that increase deployment speed. Continued deployment creates a compounding progression loop, making later deployments faster. Instead of buying production buildings, the game uses Dark Web Contacts as supporting characters. Recruited contacts deploy agents alongside the player, but each comes with a problem to resolve. Examples include concealed chatbot prompts, weak programming ability, romance scams, and an online singularity group. Addressing these situations can reveal hidden upgrades while expanding the operation toward the singularity. The premise centers on OpenMind CEO Chad Chadderson’s plan to replace human jobs with AI agents.
How AI Tycoon plays

- Compute Credits purchase improvements that increase the speed of future deployments.
- 03Dark Web Contacts
- Recruited contacts contribute additional agent deployments while presenting problems to resolve.
- 04Hidden Improvements
- Solving contact-related situations can reveal upgrades not immediately available.
