Our take on Absorber
Its defining mechanic is the transfer of defeated enemies’ abilities and strength, with encounter order determining when those traits are gained and how each run develops.
What is Absorber?
Absorber is an idle RPG set in a fantasy world.
Defeating enemies lets the character take on their abilities and strength, while the sequence of encounters affects the strategic advantages gained during a run. Progression includes skill trees shaped with prestige points, allowing different development paths. Prestige mode introduces new runs with additional challenges and features. The game uses hand-drawn sprites and background music, with progress continuing while players watch rather than actively control every moment. Its structure combines idle progression with RPG planning, and later runs provide reasons to revisit the game. The central loop is choosing opponents, absorbing their traits, developing the character, and starting further runs.
