Our take on 東方剛欲異聞 ～ 水没した沈愁地獄
The combat ties special attacks to water collected from enemy bullet patterns, so using Spell Cards depends on engaging with those patterns rather than relying only on ordinary attacks. Losing all lives also resets progress to the stage’s beginning.
What is 東方剛欲異聞 ～ 水没した沈愁地獄?
Control a choice of characters as they pursue an incident through a series of duels.
Enemies fill the screen with bullet patterns that can be grazed or attacked to clear or pass through them. Touching bullets at particular moments uses spirit power to turn them into water, which can be collected and spent on Spell Card attacks. Reduce an opponent’s health gauge to zero to advance; losing all player lives ends the run. A game over sends the stage back to its beginning. Character choice changes both the story and gameplay, with each protagonist following a different course. Keyboard and controller inputs are supported, with controls for movement, grazing, attacks, water collection, Spell Cards, and pausing.
