Our take on 12 Hours Museum
Its defining structure is a timed museum loop: find anomalies 12 times in succession, then repeat runs to uncover alternate endings and additional discoveries.
What is 12 Hours Museum?
This 3D first-person exploration adventure takes place in a dim museum appearing in the protagonist’s dreams.
Players search for unusual details while using a pocket watch and flashlight, repeating loops until they find anomalies 12 times in succession within the time limit. The first clear takes about 30 minutes. Seven endings branch from actions during play. After clearing the game, a gallery allows discovered anomalies to be viewed again, while Infinity Mode presents undiscovered anomalies.
Collecting all 45 anomalies and seven endings opens an extra mode containing 54 more anomalies, for 99 total. Three difficulty settings alter the chance of items that extend the time limit. A moving monster and stage transfer can occur after discovering an anomaly while looking at the player’s feet.
